PEOPLES PARK Palma Gil Street , Davao City , Mindanao , Philippines It was one of best morning when I took a walk and a warm up at the People's Park. The people there was so approachable , the place is secured because security was everywhere , the environment was relaxing. It was really a good spot to go first early in the morning with friend and family to hang out and chill in. If you want to step out of the busy streets down town, this is one of the places to go. People's Park is where locals go for their morning/evening jog, since it actually has nice running tracks circling the park. When I visited the park there where plenty of people in the park, everything from joggers to families. Go here for some relaxation, bring some food and drinks and just enjoy. The place us safe, clean and has lots of big trees that provide shade. Early morning walks are best, and perchance you will see the Zumba enthusiasts moving to the upbeat music. Location is great. It is very s

PHILIPPINE EAGLE CENTRE Malagos , Calinan , Davao City , Mindanao , Philippines I really do appreciate the effort and protection of the foundation to help preserve our Philippine Eagle. Its really a good experience to personally take a picture and have a span of a moment with the bird. It really inspired me and it made me realize how important is the bird as one of the greatest treasure of Davao and a precious bird of the Philippines. The Center is home to 36 Philippine Eagles, 18 of which are captive-bred. It also houses 10 other species of birds, 4 species of mammals and 2 species of reptiles. Simulating a tropical rain forest environment, the Center offers the visitor a glimpse into the country’s forest ecosystem. Although the exhibits are used primarily to help educate the Filipino people on conservation, the facility is also considered a major tourist attraction in Davao City. The Center is home to 36 Philippine Eagles, 18 of which are captive-bred. It also houses 1

EDEN NATURE PARK Toril , Davao City Philippines The nature is very nice for a solo traveller like me. When you enter the park , the mountain breeze greets me, very well organize tours, with guide and teach me about flora and fauna. The rides, foods and the place let me refresh and feel relax for the moment . It's really a great spot for those who want to breath and  take a break. This resort is naturally beautiful. We can't get enough of the garden.  Too little for us.  The trees and the cool climate is best. We love the simplicity of the area. The attractions are simple and average. The activities that are offered are the best. The selection of food is average but the freshness of ingredients is superb. The last time we came here, there was a good variety of fruits at the buffet. This time, there were few. Few but super sweet. The area is wide and we rode a shuttle for the guided tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and welcoming to the guests. There are lot

D'BONE COLLECTOR MUSEUM San Pedro , Bucana , Barangay 76-A , Davao Cty , Minsdanao Philippinnes I never ever expect that I'll the place  when first and furmost I don't really like travelling. But by the influence of social media , I learned to seek different spots in this city and tried to explore it with all by myself. The first that catched my attention was the D'Bone Collector Museum.I found the museum very interesting , the tour guide was very pleasant to us. The bones was really attractive and I really learned things i didn't know before, of course the importance of animals and nature. After visiting this museum..You will realise that caring for nature is very important because almost all the bones that were displayed here are victim of irresponsible human who doesn't care about others. The entry is not expensive and inclusive of a tour guide that will explain to you the displays and and sometimes how the animal dies due to environmental recklessness of

The Beauty of DAKBAYAN SA DABAW

Davao City Hall San Pedro Street, Davao City The Old City Hall (formerly the Municipal Building) was constructed in 1926, some ten years before Davao finally became a city. Unveiled during the celebration of the Philippine Centennial in 1998, the monument depicts the peaceful relationship of the migrant and indigenous inhabitants of Davao in the last 100 year. The  Davao Rizal Park  is the place where some government-financed bands held their concerts. It is also a gathering place for short meetings of government staffs and where the “way kurat” (fearless) former Mayor (now Vice-Mayor) Rodrigo Duterte speaks to the public about different city concerns.  The  City Hall of Davao  or the city's Municipal Building is where the Office of the Local Executive is located. It was constructed in 1926, ten years before Davao finally became a city in March 16, 1936. It is located along San Pedro Street, one of the oldest streets in Davao City.
